The easiest way to make good shoes last longer. Forcing a foot into a loafer folds the heel counter, and over time that crease breaks the shape for good. A shoe horn guides your heel in cleanly, so the back of the shoe keeps its structure wear after wear.
This one is made to travel. A compact shoe horn shaped from solid wood, smooth and warm in the hand, finished with a genuine leather strap so it hangs by the door or slips into a pocket, a carry-on or a desk drawer.
- Compact travel shoe horn, pocket and carry-on size
- Solid wood, smooth finish with natural grain
- Genuine leather hanging strap
- Curved blade guides the heel in without folding the heel counter
- Works with loafers, Oxfords, Derbies and boots
- Length: 15 cm / 6 in
Compact size for pocket, bag or travel use. Length: 15 cm / 6 in.
How to use
- Hold the shoe horn by the top, curved side facing your heel.
- Place the blade inside the back of the shoe, against the heel counter.
- Slide your heel down the blade into the shoe.
- Lift the shoe horn out once your heel is seated.
Tip: use it every time, not just with new shoes. It is the simplest way to keep the heel counter from creasing.
- Shoe horn: Solid wood, smooth natural finish
- Strap: Genuine leather
Care
- Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Do not soak or put it in water.
- Rub in a little wood oil or wax now and then to keep the finish smooth.
- Condition the leather strap occasionally so it stays supple.
Storage
- Hang it by the strap near the door, or keep it in a pocket or bag.
- Keep away from direct heat and damp, which can dry out or warp the wood.
